Increase in Mileage Rates The mileage rate for the use of privately owned vehicles and motorcycles while on official business increased to 58.5 cents per mile, effective August 1, 2008. This rate applies to Court Staff, Jurors, Witnesses, Interpreters and CJA Panel Attorneys.
Electronic Availability of Transcripts
Effective May 15, 2008, the United States District Court for the Western District will
implement Policy and Procedures regarding the Electronic Availability of Official
Court Transcripts. The Policy is in accordance with the Judicial Conference Policy
on Privacy and Public Access to Electronic Case Files, Federal Rule of Civil
Procedures 5.2 and Federal Rule of Criminal Procedure 49.1. Click below to view

Increase in Transcript Fees
The Judicial Conference of the United States has approved a ten percent increase to the maximum page rates for transcript orders received on or after October 18, 2007. In addition, the Judicial Conference has created a new rate for the delivery of transcripts within 14 days. Click here to view the Order adopting these increased rates.
