MILEAGE RATE INCREASE -- Effective April 17, 2012 (Apr 19, 2012)

The General Services Administration (GSA) and the Administrative Office of the United States Courts (AO) have announced an increase in the reimbursement rates for privately owned automobiles, motorcycles and airplanes used for official travel. The new reimbursement rates are effective April 17, 2012, for travel performed on or after that date. The rates apply to all judges, court employees, jurors, witnesses, interpreters and CJA appointed counsel.

Automobiles $0.555 per mile
Motorcycles $0.525 per mile
Airplanes $1.31 per miles

ELECTRONIC PUBLIC ACCESS FEE INCREASE EFFECTIVE APRIL 1, 2012 (Mar 20, 2012)

Effective April 1, 2012, the electronic public access (EPA) fee will increase from $0.08 per page to $0.10 per page for access to court records through the PACER service.
