COMPLAINTS TO BE FILED BY ATTORNEYS
As of APRIL 1, 2019, attorneys can file Complaints (NOT Notices of Removal, Habeas Corpus petitions, etc.) in CM/ECF. A completed Civil Cover Sheet must first be submitted to the appropriate divisional office for processing. When the judge and case number have been assigned and the parties have been added, the Civil Cover Sheet will be docketed. This will be your notice that you can proceed with filing the Complaint. The attached Civil Cover Sheet must be used if you desire to docket your own complaint. Filing Instructions are also attached to this notice. If you have any procedural or filing questions, please contact any divisional office for assistance.
